Karunya Arogya Suraksha Yojana (KASP) - Free medical assistance of Rs. 5 lakh per family per financial year
Karunya Benevolent Fund (KBF) - Free medical assistance of Rs. 2 lakhs to the family (Medical assistance of up to Rs. 3 lakhs for kidney/kidney related diseases)
Arogya Kiranam - Free treatment assistance in government hospitals for children under 18 years of age
Eligibility Criteria
- Karunya Arogya Suraksha Padhathi (KASP): Anyone with a valid RSBY/CHIS card for the period 2018-2019, are eligible to join the new scheme.
- In addition to the RSBY/CHIS categories, weaker sections identified by the Central Government as per the 2011 Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) are also eligible for inclusion in the scheme.
- Families that have received a direct letter from the Central Government are eligible for inclusion in the scheme.
- Karunya Benevolent Fund (KBF): Families with an annual income of less than ₹3 lakh are eligible for inclusion in the Karunya Benevolent Fund (KBF), provided they are not eligible for benefits under the Karunya Arogya Suraksha Padhathi (KASP).
- Arogyakiranam: For children aged between one year and below 18 years, eligibility applies if their parents are not central or state government employees or income tax payers.
- Treatment for children up to one year of age is covered under the JSSK scheme.

Applications can be submitted directly at the Karunya and Arogya Suraksha Scheme kiosks available in government and private hospitals empanelled under the scheme.
