HEART (Homeopathy Evidence-Based Advanced Research & Training) 

• Initiative for promoting research aptitude amongst medical officers 
• Training was given to 100 selected doctors. 
• Eminent faculties from JIPMER,CCRH (Central Council of Homoeopathy Research in Homoeopathy), and many interdisciplinary scientists lead different workshops on research methodology. 
• 25 research proposals were presented before the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) Department of Homoeopathy. Among these 17 Research proposals are approved by SAB. 
• 16 research proposals were presented before the Ethics committe and 15 proposals have been approved. 

SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY BOARD 

The Department of Homoeopathy Government of Kerala has constituted a Scientific Advisory Board (SAB DHK) to provide advice on strengthening the scientific content of research proposals submitted by the doctors. The members of SAB DHK comprise eminent scientists, Statisticians, Clinicians and experts from interdisciplinary fields. A meeting was conducted in the last financial year on 1/10/24 for reviewing research proposal.

INSTITUTIONAL ETHICS COMMITTEE 

An Institutional ethics committee under the department has been constituted for the approval of the Scientific research studies. Provisional registration of the ethics committee is completed. 16 proposals were submitted to IEC conducted on 27/12/24 for approval. 10 proposal have been approved. 5 proposals have been approved in principle, subject to resubmission with revised suggestions. 1 proposal not approved. A meeting was conducted in the last financial year on 1/10/24 for reviewing research proposal.
