E- Health services now available in 600 healthcare institutions in the state

E-health system has been established in 600 govt health institutions across the state. In addition to 16 medical colleges and affiliated hospitals, 18 district and general hospitals, 22 taluk hospitals, 27 social health centers, 453 family health centers, 49 urban primary health centers, 10 specialty hospitals, 2 public health labs, and 3 other health centers are now equipped with the eHealth system. The implementation of eHealth in 130 more health centers is in its final stage.
The E-Health system, built upon the concept of 'One Citizen - One Electronic Health Record,' aims to consolidate the services of government health care centers onto a single platform. Pre-appointments can be made in e-health implemented hospitals through the e-health web portal (https://ehealth.kerala.gov.in), created for the implementation of e-governance services in the health sector. This system will also facilitate access to advance tokens when referring from one hospital to another. A Unique Health ID, containing all the health-related information of an individual, will be accessible through this web portal. Information about the hospital, available services, treatment timings, and details about lab tests can also be obtained through the portal. A person's treatment record will be available in any government hospital in the state through this system. For queries call Disha 104, 1056, 0471 2552056, 2551056.
