Applications Provided by Drugs Control Department

1. Drug Testing

The department operates four government drug testing laboratories located in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Pathanamthitta. These laboratories are responsible for testing samples of Allopathic, Homeopathic, and Ayurvedic drugs, as well as cosmetics, to ensure quality standards. Samples are collected randomly from markets and manufacturing premises by Drugs Inspectors and Regional Drugs Inspectors. Additionally, consumers can submit samples for analysis upon payment of requisite fees.
