The number of people aged 30 and above who have undergone lifestyle disease screening, implemented by the health department, has surpassed one and a half crore. Follow-up tests have been completed for approximately 13.5 lakh identified as at risk during the screening, and necessary treatments have been ensured for those requiring intervention.

A total of 1,50,05,837 people have been screened under the scheme. Presently, 18.34 %(27,53,303) of these individuals are identified as being at risk of developing a serious disease. Among them, 5.96 %(8,95,330) have been diagnosed with cancer and referred for further tests through the cancer control program. 10.83 %(16,25,847) have been identified with hypertension, 8.76 % (13,15,615) with diabetes, and 4.11%(6,16,936) with both conditions. Health-related information has been collected for 1,06,545 (0.71%) bedridden individuals, 1,87,386 (1.24%) individuals unable to leave home without assistance, and 45,24,029 (30.14%) elderly individuals through the app. The Geriatric Palliative Care scheme has also been implemented to provide health services to those in need.

The project has been recognized as a best practice in the country, emphasizing prevention alongside treatment. The project's goal is to ensure early detection and treatment of hypertension, diabetes, cancer, tuberculosis, and lung diseases. Utilizing the SHAILI app designed by eHealth, Asha workers are conducting screenings directly at homes. Early detection and treatment of lifestyle diseases and cancer facilitate effective treatment and cure without complications. Furthermore, lifestyle changes and exercise are promoted to prevent lifestyle diseases.
